'82 Galant GLX - Jakarta

Hi guys,
I'm Setyawan from Jakarta - Indonesia. I have a '82 Galant GLX with 2000cc engine. Recently, i joined a group of classic Galants enthusiasts here in Jakarta which some of the member has already joined this forum earlier (dR3 & Oji).
Glad to know a forum like this...

I have the same model, but in oz it's a GJ Sigma.

thanks for the welcoming...
Got this car 6 years ago. Despite its straight body, the outside paint was oxidized quite badly. So in 2007 i repainted the outside with colour as close as possible to match the original one by checking the inside paint colour.
For the engine...actually, i'm still confused about the engine's series... :D, maybe this pic could tell you wich engine it is

Certainly looks like a NA 4G63 to me.

I see...it's a robust engine and quite easy to maintain. Despite it's age, it can still capable for a long run cruise without problems. I like this car for that matter.
Still need some original replacement parts especially the original steering wheel...

Looks very nice, I like the new wheels. They are very hard to find in Australia, I don't think our cars ever got them.
Go the fender mirrors, the big square ones will suit it perfectly.

Indeed, the wheels are very rare and very hard to find here in Indonesia as well , especially with this kind of condition. So when i got an info about these wheels, it didn't take much time for me to think about buying it right away...

The big square with chrome edge fender mirror will be the best, right? :)

Thank you, mate...
Fortunately, in 2004, i acquired this sigma in fairly good body condition, with this kind of green original colour...there were just some small rust spots and a dull, oxidized exterior paint. There's no dent or any other major body damage as well. So i just went for an exterior paint job with some small body repair for the rusts. Got to do colour matching with the original interior paint colour since the green original colour didn't available anymore.
I don't know what its called, but some models came with this kind of green as standard original colour...here's some pics:

Pretty sure that colour is called Athens Olive.

i think those wheels came as standard rims for Lancer EX 1800 GSR and galant sigma 2000 turbo...made by Asahi, japan...
