Welcome mate. I think we may be seeing a bit more of this car on the site maybe?

Can't wait to see what you do with it...

Here is this car on Cardomain when owned by the previous owner with 20's on it http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2969803
I met BBYVAL today and saw the car. He and his mates seem like good and knowledgeable blokes, I expect big things from this car?

Hey Dave

It was a pleasure to meet you and your family chief, and pleasure doing business :) believe me this will save me an arm and a leg.
I saw the photos of my car with those 20's looks like a different car but, looks good but not the look i like. My ideal reiim would be a set of B45 simmons white centre with a chrome dish 15 or 16 inch by 8 inch oh yeah if i can find a set of these.

The 2.6 will be out this sunday and ready to be sold along with the gearbox tailshaft and diff, the diff i bought the car with was very noisy and on its way so i went to
pick and payless and Blacktown and found a galant wagon there took the diff centre and axles :). I also out of curiosity took and axle out of the chrysler lancer and the axles are the same good to know.

Thanks again champ much appreciated big effort talk soon.

I am very confused at this stage.....I could have sworn the previous owner was named Charlie but it been a good 3 years since I have seen the car. My car runs 16x8 so you will have no issue with getting them in the rear, just need to watch the backspace. All in all you should end up with great car and an awesome amount of fun, welcome to the chrysler/mitsubishi camp....

Cheers

Thanks turbo1200 and oldn64 the car i purchased as is with the 2.6 since i acquired the car i have changed the diff and locked it :) great fun. But know it will converted to a rotor 13B.

The previous owner is Theo, the car slept at smithfield in Sydney's west. A mate of mine was after a get around and i was driving my truck through smithfield when i saw it for sale on the front lawn so naturally i called my mate knowing that he and i both liked Galants and he had previously owned a stock granny spec auto galant. Turns out Theo purchased the car from my mate painted the car changed a few things and now it is back :) small world.

Very Nice, Glad you have it up and running again Charlie.

What's the final set up you settled with?
13b or 12a?

Nice rims BTW too.
Looks like 77galantv6 and I will need to go for a cruise with you soon.

The only thing i havent done is, i need a new fuel sender and a longer speedo cable. The speedo cable is easy i got someone making me one but for the life of me i cant find a fuel sender. I am assuming thats the problem because the gauge isnt working the car sat for a few years i thought maybe the sender had seized up or something. Trial and error i guess if anyone has a spare sender im looking for one to buy sooner the better the engineer is due early next year so i need it soon.

Let me know if any1 can help cheers guys.
