Howdy all name is Lee , have had a few galants, magnas, tritons , lancers over the years , currently have an MJ triton , 5 stud conversion , 2.6 efi , turbo in the build , Used to own/built up an orange 16l a53 coupe back in the late eighties( always wondered what happened to it) but yes have a wealth of experience and still learning ( it never ends) .hope to contribute to the forum any way helpful ,cheers

most of the early stuff is the film and paper type photos , but the lancer and triton stuff is digital will upload some fresh picks asap, most pics i have were taken for reference, ie grease marks and rags , really need to take some , fresh detailled pics, cheers.... as for the 16L it was venus orange , black centred simmons wheels , I loved that car , :( Actually any of you old timers out there will remember me from Coltspeed, again late eighties .

That Galant looks awesome.
I used to live near North Rocks in Sydney, and I remember a white one that was as tidy as. It used to park out the back of K Mart North Rocks, this would have been between about 1987 to 1990.
I remember thinking I had never seen a Galant 2 door before, and I haven't seen one in real life since.

very nice galant hardtop. I love the earlier hardtops more than the later gc gd hardtop like mine :thumpsup:

Hey Dave,

Did you ever see a royal blue GB sedan around the hills area at about that time? If so that would have been dad's old one. We were living at Kings Langley at the time.
