How did you find Sigma-Galant.com?

Post by 75wagon »

How did you find Sigma-Galant.com?
We, as a community, would like to know how to expand our site. Any information that you could provide would be an asset to the site.

Sigma-galant.com is going through a stage of accelerated growth lately, and we want to be able to make the most of this. There are future plans underway to make the site a better place for new and existing members.

That way we could tell what is working and put some concentrated efforts towards further advertisements??

Feel free to leave any feedback below.

As suggested by: Danturbolancer, and a top idea, so I acted on it
edit: I deleted the poll because it didn't work.

I think I found the site back in 2005 via Google. That is around the time I got my GJ GSR, and was googling around for info. Ended up leaving for a while since I crashed my Sigma. Then I returned a day before the change to the new site format.

I been around for a couple of years on mitsubishi sites from the early days when glen and fabio had forums up and going
I was prob looking for info back from 1999 so came across there forums
thats when I first built my sigma race car ( and its still around today. )- and there wasn't much around on the internet as far as performance astrons go

so in answer to "How did you find Sigma-Galant.com?" I just followed the crowd

HAHA
Car porn? ;)

Was looking to do more work on the 4 door, and googled for an early Lancer Site, but wasnt holding my breath, didnt think many existed.

Then i came acroos the last S-G site just before it was closed and this one opened...
I figured they were all Mitsu, Galant was close enough...

Now all the Lancers are coming out of the wood work, and im amazed at how many there are!

plus the site is great, and loads of top people!
(suck, suck haha)

I was googling Scorpions and made my way to the Wikipedia article. The description of the first image (of the yellow Scorpion), once enlarged, said that it was taken by "dirtygalant", a member of these forums. So naturally, I had to check it out.

One of our members C_Fernance had a Scorpion forum many years ago. When I bought the wagon I was surprised how well they were built. Everything still worked, I was amazed.

I guess I typed "Mitsubishi forum" in google and thats where I ended up.

Bought a damaged Scorp with a turbo, transplanted it to the wagon, and it all went downhill from there.

It all started with the old bishiboys forum for me, when that went down Matt started AUStarion and I ended up starting a site (4GMitsubishi)
Got to know bones, jamie (Mr D) Steve (cheaterparts) Sarah (DVSGAL) and a heap of other guys on a little MIRC chat that was going for a while.
Fabio came along and started a site, shortly followed up with MrDs joint effort.
and here it is today.

i lurked a few times on the old forum, but it seemed pretty cliquish and even a bit hostile, so i didn't stick around
a few weeks ago, i decided to google up the forum but realized, once i got here, a lot had changed
