Welcome to the site Phill.
I've had 2 LB hatches and 1 LC hatch and I really like these cars. I actually have an opportunity to buy one at the moment (just waiting for more details).
Do you have any pics of your car?
Which rubbers where you after the door to body rubbers or the bailey channel rubbers for the glass to slide up and down.

Also a major city or state that you are located may help members who can help you.

If in or near Sydney check out the cruise link for the 6th in my signature. There is one in SA on the 13th as well.

Be good to see you there....

Dave

Gday Phill,
you have come to the right place.

Im sure you will find plenty of areas that will suit you and your lancer,
or indeed you may be able to help shed some light on.
500, 000ks, now that commitment :D

The rubbers I am after are the ones on the crome strips on the door. They are there to stop rain going down inside the door.Mine are slightly deteriorating and starting to scratch the glass as I wind the windows.

Have you tried an auto rubber company.
Those sorts of rubbers are generic and you can generally buy them buy the metre. All you have to do is give them a sample.
I might be wrong with the Lancer hatch one though. I haven't looked at one for over 10 years...
But the Galant ones certainly are that way.
