g'day, i'm anthony.

i've owned my gb galant for 4 years. when i bought it, it already had a full alloy cage in it & drive train.
completed various mods over the years. i've listed a few detail below.

engine:- SOHC 4G63 (Sirius)
- RACE pistons
- standard conrods lightened to 470grams ea. & matched
- lightened & Balanced crank. (later model fitted after oil surge killed the original)
- 4G62 oil filter housing to connect Oil Cooler attachment.
- Manufactured sump with Stainless box section to increase capacity to 6.25L & trapdoor baffled to prevent surge.
- Heavy ported head With Toyota 22R Stainless Steel Inlet & Exhause Valves
- 4G64 EFI manifold.
- Microtech Fuel only computer.


Gearbox :- LA Lancer

Diff: - Mitsu/works 4.2 gears.
- torana xu1 LSD centre.

welcome to the site,

i came up and had a chat to someone about the car (thought his name was laurie? but i could be mistaken) at the hillclimb.

love the car. went well through the tight section at the bottom of the hillclimb.

i'm fairly certain dan (danturbolancer) posted a video on youtube of it....

Welcome to the forum mate. I also saw you do an impressive run at the hillclimb, youll see there was a a few pics and a mention of your car in the events section of this forum. Are you based around Newy ?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
it was actually dad (Laurie) driving on the day. i'd hate to take the credit away from him.
he has some in car footage from the day which i'll youtube soon & post.

i'll get some picks of the tramp rods soon...they work a treat and don't take alot to make.
adjustable lower control arms of a widebody camry & some mild steel sheet. makes em' squat and go.

Hey buddy. Thats a sweet ride u got urself there. Im a big fan of the GB. Ive seen a few of your youtube vids, love watching them. Sounds real nice and looks like It drives really well. Go the yellow GB yeeeewwwww!!!! :P

saw one run at hill climb, camrys are usefull, my panhard rod is made from a camry rear control arm.

cheers. got more vids comin for ya so keep an eye out. (as soon as i get mi old mans apple workin) his been rackin up the miles this year at Eastern Creek, Oran Park & Wakefield testin some new video gear.

Glad you found the site mate!

Yeah sorry about that vid, i wasnt in the best position and the Hair pin was covered up by the trees... Hence why i said it was a Lame vid (lame on my part!!)


Its a beast!
You will have to keep March in mind for the Bullahdelah Hillclimb too!
