ok here goes

Post by sam »

well first things first. i don't know much about cars, i can check the oil and shit and that's about it. so now your wondering wtf? ... oh i'm a female. nothing on that though i'm just not learned in the art of cars. would be nice.

I have a Galant '75 Coupe.

she would very much liked to fixed up but currently runs well. came on here to read up on others to get some idea on what people have had done. recently had radiator repaired and am probably up for the head gasket or whole engine. aargh. :x
don't want to get rid of her, she's a beauty

What?? There is a female on the internets!!??

It is with certainty that everyone on this forum started with only knowing how to change the oil, etc. If you read around on the forums, ask questions, I am sure people will be more than happy to give you advice on how to fix what is wrong with your Galant. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, it will be quite rewarding to fix your car with your own hands. Also, since you are in SA, you need to get your Galant all working so you can join the rest of the SA members in the cruises that get organised.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, you got to post some pics of your car.

Welcome to the site :)
I know Strathalbyn - used to head down there on the Ducati for a spin every now and then. There was a guy there who made exhaust systems for bikes - I'm still using a set of his mufflers 20 years on :D . Looking forward to the pics. Saturn 1600 I guess?

Hi sam, welcome to our forum.

There are lots of us South Ozzies heres, so you have plenty of help available, no matter how dumb your questions are (or how smart).

Lots of participation will get you lots of help, and yes, we need pics of your car. If you dont know how, refer to the Tutorial section of this forum.
