Blue 82 Overdue Intro
Blue 82 Overdue Intro
Hi all. I’ve put a few posts up already so I thought it was time to meet and greet. You can call me Jim. As my username suggests I’ve got a Blue 82. It’s a GJ sedan that I’ve had for a long time. Restored and Modified to the best I could with what I had and a lot of trial and error along the way. I’ve encountered just about every problem you could have with this model so I’ve got a bit of knowledge to share, but I’m not a know it all. I still make mistakes and get the occasional problem that I need advice for and try to provide it to others where I can. I treat everyone as equals and I don’t do the pre school bitching thing I see on some forums. It’s childish, it’s beneath me, and not what forums are for, and lets be real, anyone who does it wouldn’t dare say it to your face in the real world anyway or they’d be wearing some black eye shadow for a week. But back on topic, my GJ is my 10 years of pride and joy, (Mainly coz I can’t be bothered gettin another car). It’s not super quick, N/A, 100 and something rwhp. Hard suspension, Big brakes. It’ll smoke most new cars in straight line, on corners and brakes, but probably isn’t worth a cracker so it’s easier to just keep it. I’ll put up a pic when I get the chance. I’ve seen some of your rides already. It’s good to know some people still have appreciation for the old mitsi’s being the car’s of the day that they were. (The memory’s of some people are a little lax). I don’t dislike the fords and holdens but I’ve driven plenty of both new and old, and still prefer my siggy. That’s my 2cents worth, hope I can help some people out and see some more of your mad rides.

It's a basic camera, Nikon Coolpix L18 ,I got the camera worked out, just gotta get a few good pics of the car in daylight and work out how to upload them, I haven't done it before, if it's a simple copy and paste job no problem, but I have problems just putting pictures into emails LOL!

Ok been a while but I got a few pics, sorry, been busy. Problem is it's still tellin me down the bottom of the page I cannot post attachments in this forum. I can't find any upload feature either. I can upload these straight from the PC right?. Just imagine for a moment I am a complete PC muppet that couldn't navigate a porn site. Sad but true.GC75 wrote:well pretty much use the upload feature... click browse and the 2nd submit button on the forum when clicking a reply.

There currently isn't any provisions in the index to put in photos of the main article... but, it does tell you what page to look at them.
Upload your pictures to a host ( http://www.fotothing.com for example )
Then copy and paste link here; if your wanting it to show straight up in a thread, put around it
