I am Joonas. I have purchased a mid restoration 78. Galant Sigma. I also recieved a crashed 79 GLX. I am planning to rebuild a GLX on a regular frame. Both are 2.0 engines. I am right now swapping out fuel pumps, ignition coils, just all good to replace things as preemptive maintenance.
I have a Gregorys GE series service and repair manual. It has gotten me quite far. The only real issues that I am running into are the more understandable ones. Like the fact that there are no body parts and some parts are on ebay and have ridiculous prices.
As it is my first car that I am rebuilding I have to say. I am quite frustrated with the lack of hoses and pipes on the market for that car. Or my lack in being able to find any!
For these reasons I am joining this forum.
