Good to see another early Scorp on the mend.. :D

Always preferred the GE / GH Scorpions over the later models.

Cheers.

Nice one Josh, great to see an early Scorpion getting some love.
Like Scott said I prefer the 1st gen over the 2nd
Got any more photos?
What are the plans for it?

For now the plan is just to clean it up and get it on the road by early next month (Otherwise I have to get another permit). I'll have to get out the camera and take some more pics, at the moment it has no lights on the front (A cracked high beam and a rusted-out low-beam won't pass a roadworthy). The car drove surprisingly nice all the way home (2 hour drive home from Hopetoun Park, ended up having to drive through the CBD after we couldn't figure out how to get on Citylink after stopping to remove the plates), no squeaks or rattles, no issues at all. The interior needs a good clean as the car had been parked under trees with no driver's window (Missing regulator) for a few years.

Thanks for the welcome.

Looks pretty good all things considered.
Let me know if you have trouble finding any parts you need, I have a few spares I could part with

Hey thanks for the offer A112H, there is a rough as guts GE/GH Scorpion fifteen minutes down the road that has been parked in the same spot longer than I have been alive, if I can find the owner I will buy it and strip it for parts, but I'm not holding my breath that he/she will want to sell it.

Also, made a build thread:
