New Yank

Post by WaterChestnuts »

Hello all, happy to find a place with some info and gurus on the old Mitsubishi motors. Like supersloth says, not much in the way of info or parts state side. Have an old 4g33 tug and a few old Chrysler projects.

Funny you say that, States side is where I get the parts I can't get in Oz.

Yeah, the US is good for bits and pieces. A real capitalist society: "Of course we can help you with that sir!" :-)

Where do you get bits from Dave? Any websites in particular?

I must be spoiled by being able to walk in napa auto parts and buy whatever I need.. I called them on the 4g33, even tried all the different models and years the motor came in, and they were baffled!

Yeah, I suppose you can't get everything.
But I bought an oil pump (not available in OZ). You can also get strut top mounts, fuel pumps, carby kits etc... just to name a few.
