New from the States Two Colts and a Sapporo

Post by BradD »

New around here, from the US. Have a few old Mitsu's.

I have the junk yard rescue Sapporo that Forrest found a few years back in SoCal, then it went to my friend Chris (who I think was on here briefly) and about two years ago I bought it from him and will probably never sell!

I also have a fwd Colt Mirage, granny spec 1.6 auto with about 60k miles on it.

and my two projects a '74 GC (I think GC based on my short time here!) Sedan 2.0, currently automatic. Just 10,600 Miles

and an '84 Starion ES

Looked like this....

Glad to be on board, will put up a thread for the restoration of the '74 as well. Looking forward to some good advice!

Nice collection you have there BradD.

I'm glad to see that Sapporo is still in the hands of someone who cares.

The Supporo and the Colt Hatch are very nice.
I also noticed that the Stazza is a narrow body. Thought all the ones you guys got were wide body ( which my brother has one of and are quite rare here in Australia as they weren't old here). Is it a 2.0or a 2.6?

Thanks, it is and will be as long as I am around. It was actually featured in an american magazine this past year.
Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car; March of 2014 . Was pretty psyched about that.

Nath, the Starion is a narrow body. We got them from '83 until '87 with narrow and wide bodies available at the same time for '86 and '87. Narrow cars are the rare ones here as most people prefer the wide body. I have had about four wide cars and this is my first flatty. I like the fact that it is different compared to most in the US and now I prefer it.

Thank you, all, for the warm welcome.
Now I must go read more and compose a question or two.
