Post by Paul4carz »

Hi all
I just joined.
I am after purchasing a 1977 Mitsubishi lancer in Japan. I wont have the car for two months but when i do get it, it will be the only one in Ireland :)
My plans are as follows, lower it a lot , maybe 13" Jdm dished wheels and lsd diff for now.
I cannot get any parts over here so i am hopeing you guys can help with sourcing lowering blocks etc!

Hi Paul4carz
Lowering blocks should be pretty easy (ebay search should pretty much find them for you).
That Lancer looks pretty good. You'll be chasing some headlights surrounds as well I suppose?
LSD's are hard to find for these, but not impossible. Might cost a few $$$ though.

Any details on this one for us?
1.4, 1.6 or something else?

Dave...

Thanks Dave!
Well basically i took a chance on buying this car,i was keeping an eye on Japanese auction sites and had never seen one come up before. So it might have been a bit expensive but i took it for granted that there was a lot of money spent on it, there was no spec sheet but i seen from the pictures that there was roll cage, chin spoiler, gauges ,cut off switchs ,arches etc. Its 1.4 on the book anyway but not sure if the 1.4 still remains
