Galant Colt GS-R GTO spotted in Thailand

Hello folks,
During the 26 months or so I've been living the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, I have spotted quite a few rare cars in excellent condition. I'm sure the idea climate has something to do with it and there seems to be a healthy vintage car scene in what is known as 'the old Lanna Empire'. This part of the country was once the Lanna Kingdom.
This Gallant Colt GS-R GTO is one of my favorites. From what I've read about these cars, I believe this might be a 1974 or 1976 but I'm not sure, of course. I didn't get to meet the owner and haven't seen it around since. If I had met him or her I would have made an offer. If I see it again, I'll make sure to ask if it's for sale. It seemed to be in excellent shape. I checked the underside and it appeared solid, the body is clean and smooth. Sorry, but the interior photo I took didn't turn out. I can imagine a 2000cc version with twin carbs and a five speed would be a lot of fun to drive. I find the design nod to American 70's muscle cars is inspired, a nice Asian tribute. A very hot little car. Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the little black fender skirts and blacked out bumper were original to the car? And was this orange an original color?
thanks,
Baz
