New to the site :D

Post by Samirapoop »

Hey, seen this site a couple months ago and decided to sign up..

I bought a 1976 Chrysler Galant Deluxe GL GD 5 months ago. Hoping I can gain some knowledge from you guys as I don't know alot about cars, besides that I love them xD

This is my ride :D

I was also wondering if any of you guys would know where I can get a trunk rubber seal for it or if I could use one from a different car..
Also some guy rear ended my car recently and I just wanted to know if anyone has a rear bumper :D

Sorry if I have asked too many questions in the introduce yourself part of the forums :/

WOW!!!!! :o look at that dash!! Great find mate :)

As for a rear bar, what's damaged? If its just the centre... I'm sure someone on here will have one :) I know of one, but unsure of its condition and availability :)

What are you're plans with the old girl? Keep it how it is? Or a sporty revamp?

Hi Samirapoop, welcome aboard. WHERE ARE THESE MINT CHRYSLER/MITSU'S COMING FROM??!? DavesGirlNQ recently posted pics of his recent acquisition of an LC Lancer hatch and then you bring this equally well preserved GD Galant to the table. Cars like these are few and far between... Nice find!

Welcome to the site. That's a great looking Galant you've managed to score there.

I think my dad replaced the boot lid on my hardtop with one from a Sigma when he owned it. I try to remember to ask him.

Thanks everyone :D

The rear bumper has been bent because the guy that hit me, hit the rear left.. so the bumper isnt straight anymore :/ If I can't find one I can get it repaired since his insurance didn't want to repair it and gave me monies haha

Also, my plans for this car are to leave it how it is for now... and eventually make it a sleeper? lols.. So not playing around with the appearance except prolly the wheels :D
But that will be a while from now, need to find another job :)

Nice :D

And yea :) the term "sleeper" is correct.

Are you one to put a v8 in her, or a 4cyl turbo?

Excellent example of a classic Galant. Getting rear ended is every classic car owners worst nightmare.
