My Sigma 1982. Recent purchase

Post by Jdg1 »

Hi everyone,
Im new to this forum, but am known for my vast collection of classic Mercedes Benz vehicles, but recently sold all to find a new car maker to have a passion for. I fell in love with my first ever sigma the other day, so i had to purchase it. Its a one owner from new, 136,000kms from new, Astron 2.6lt, whitewall tyres, very tidy. I hope everyone likes!!! Im thinking of a possible engine conversion or turbo project, but i dont really want to commit to anything just yet......Image

To take a hatchet to a Sigma that tidy is blasphemy! Expect an angry mob in your yard armed with torches and pitchforks... If the car is as good as the pics, you have got yourself one pristine example.

My personal opinion is I should leave it as is, it needs very minor tlc, just some minor paint touch ups, etc. I bought it for $680, a bargin in my books, the interior is beautiful, body work amazing, a nice example! I'm thinking some venetian blinds for the rear, and some other protective items, headlight covers etc would complete it.

Far out that's in good condition!!!

How did you get it so cheap?

Did you get the whitewalls done?

Hi, thanks, original owner was to old to drive, so he gave it away cheap. The white walls are proper tyres (not fakes), the original owner had them fitted, I spent nothing on the car, bought it as is! (H)
