Stock as a rock GJ

Post by slugma »

Hey guys, here are some pics of my '83 GJ sigma!
Im the second owner, its done 225k, 2.6lt 5 speed!
Its in pretty good nick, apart from the head, we think its done No. 3 exhaust valve, so on the look out for a new head!
Its nothing compared to some of the cars on here, but at the moment its just a work car, for now!!

LOL, famous last words those...

My wagon was built to be my paint truck, now it lives (most of the time) in my garage under a car cover lol

Welcome to the site mate.
Your biggest problem now is how to make a GJ look sexy ;-)

Lol I'm thinking along the lines of sleeper!
I don't have much of a budget, so any money that comes my way is goin straight to the engine!
But that won't happen for a long time!
But I do need a head pretty urgently,
I'd love to get a hot one, but just a stock one will do for now.

Were pretty sure no 3 exhaust valve is shagged.
But we won't know if it needs anything else till we take it off.
So I just figured it would be easier and possibly just as cheap to buy another one.

Nice looking Siggy mate. Don't be put off by some of the sweet rides on here mate, they all started out looking a hell of a lot worse than yours does.
I am sure you will turn it into exactly what you want and thats what it is all about.

Thanks mate, I'm pretty happy with how it looks, its clean and tidy for its age, and its a good base for a sleeper!
