I wish we got black interior in the GC/GD Galant sedans and wagons here in Australia. That trim looks in good nick.
I've seen this car on Cardomain before, what are you currently up to with it and what are your plans?

My wagon took me 3 years to build (I almost gave up in the middle of it all?).

Nice looking LA (L type) 2 door too

thanks Dave -- the galant is in running condition, but I have not worked on her for almost 2 years as I was sidetracked by the Lancer. The Galant does have a pretty decent interior in original condition. I want a 70's retro look for her, so i plan to strip her down (when funds permit!), repaint her parchment or off-white, get her a vinyl hardtop, and slap on those chrome fender mirrors and hubcaps. She runs very sweetly and purrs like a kitten (all-stock 4G32 saturn chain-type engine, 4-speed tranny)!

The Lancer is a relatively new addition, just got her last August 2010, and I've been working on some minor detailing, suspension, tires and rims, etc. I have a full-race 1600cc 4G32 saturn engine waiting to be swapped with her stock 1400cc 4G33, so that's exciting!

Hi Jason...yes I was sad when i decided to part out the blue coupe, too, but i had no choice -- the car's paperwoork, transfer, penalties and registration fees would have cost way too much (more than the car was worth), so that was that. I was able to get the coupe's engine, though (a full race saturn 1600cc) which ill swap out for the Lancer Coupe.
