my 1 owner la lancer

Post by slimer »

Picked up this car today, a deceased estate one owner, even have full deposit and receipts from when purchased new, even has the receipts for the cassette player for $132, came with a full A4 envelope full of every single receipt spent on the car, WELL looked after and plan on keeping it that way, has ZERO rust in it, unreal score.
Was actually really lucky, i door knocked and asked if they wanted to sell it, just so happened to be they said yes, it was only in the drive way as they had just put air in the tyres and put new fuel in it, has been garaged all its life minus the last 4 years (hence the faded paint) would come up like new with a buff but had dings in each corner of the car.

Was thinking of getting it registered again (previous owner cashed the rego in) with the engine thats in it. but would like to eventually put a 13B into it like my old one i used to own.

What do use think?
Im stoked.

Nice Find man!!!!

Just a suggestion, pull the Inner guards out of the front, and check behind the front panels
The area Nearest the doors.

Because mine filled up with leaves and stuff, and eventually water, and began to rust severly, both to the body, and down at the bottoms of the outer panels.
easy to get off if need be, and just clear them of any debris

Happy motoring, 13B was what i was thinking for awhile too.

Personally I'd leave it standard.

i would like to but the lack of power would get to me. i was thinking about putting a sigma 2.6 in it but i have never done it before and not sure if its an easy conversion.
