As cars go i have another issue now the oil pressure is way too high sitting at 70psi at idle so ill have to take it off and check it out more then likely new oil pump is in order

is that cold idle or up to temp idle?
what viscosity oil is in there?

70psi isnt too high. what does it go to when revved?

I even shimmed my oil pump when i built mine for higher pressure than std

thats just fresh cold oil it sits around 60psi and once warm around 70 and then goes up under aceleration and the oil is going past the turbo even with a double ring in it, been doing some reading and at idle i should be around 30psi or so and max 60psi. Garret also said no more then 60psi is needed in the turbo as well,

i already have a restrircter on the turbo oil line but im thinking i will have to setup a reg to ease the pressure till i get the pump looked at.

But from all indications 70psi at 1000rpm is not right at all hence why i believe the turbo was having the oil blast past the seal and then even go past it after a fresh rebuild.

Car is running but still not 100% i hate fuel only ECU junk, i was looking at updating with a newer microtech but after speaking to engineer i will need a computer with a closed loop so it looks like Haltech will have to be the goer atm

Only a 400x300 so not too big, you can fit one to a GK with no cutting at all which is good as well, or you can fit a 600x300 if you want to hang it out the front like a hectic VL turbo
