Whats the economy on this thing like?

awesome on the highway, at 110km/h its sitting on 1,800 rpm
around town is still good but i usually give it a bit at the lights etc
out of the galant tank (think they are 40 litres) i get around 400k's round town
on the highway i did get 550 once

How well does the 5speed fit in the tunnel?

it is a new tunnel, cut out old tunnel, removed part of floorpan,
then widened the old tunnel and put back in.
that was one of the major parts in the engineering process.

EVL - when it goes in for paint it is getting the rally pack stripe.
not sure whether or not to remove the other strips though...

TUFSIG - looks ok in the pics, real life its a bit dodgey :P
but it will do until i get one made up....

75wagon- if your car was in my garage on the weekend it probably would have got a touch up too lol
(not that im saying yours is untidy haha)
i was seriously bored out of my mind.
and then it rained sunday as well, but at least the taxi's were on tv.

Lookin' good.
Still not sure about the red bits though, I think they looked better with the black grill...
It's good when your spare grill ends up being in better nic than the one on your car... Least you'll have a good spare now...

love the attention to detail too... just awesome (even if it is a commo donk :) )

Hmm.... and yeah, the red in the grill might be a bit much? but each to their own.

only 6'2 haha
its a little small but theres never exactly going to be much room in a galant....
any further back and the front seat would hit the rear seat
and even then i would have to modify the position of the rails....

Yep, he's tall. But there's heaps of room, in the front. Just no room for anyone in the back. Same as my wagon

I suppose it's like a 260z 2+2, room for 2 people in the front, and 2 people without legs in the back

not alot, have purchased a few little things but nothing thats very exciting
but i did just buy a set of sigma turbo rims that will hopefully be on their way soon
am thinking of polishing the hell out of the outer rim and painting the centres black
(depending on condition) - if they are polishable, i will just polish them - sorry 75wagon will hahah

but at the moment am just trying to save for a paint job.
hard when you lose your job and have to pay rego and insurance during that time....
all my savings were gone!
