My 4 door LA Lancer

Post by DanTurboLancer »

Bought the 76 stocker for $500,

Bought the 2Litre Sigma Turbo motor from the good old trading post,
I found it was stuffed and had it fully rebuilt
40 thou over flat tops, rebuilt and High flowed Turbo.

New shocks all around,
Sigma front Struts and series III front Brakes
New lowered King Springs front
Reset Rear Leaves plus added an extra leaf.
White line shocks all around, and Front Sway bar.

After replacing Gearboxes afew times and then blowing 2 diffs.
I bought another race car, and swapped all the starion gear in, but it only had factory injection and computer so it never went as well as the Sigma Turbo motor.

Here are some pics of my 4 door in happier days before the cops decided they didnt enjoy it on the road as much as i did...

When I brought it for $500, just a neat little stocker.

Now with some 17s, lowered suspension, and a Sigma Turbo motor...
Due to the height of the Factor Inlet manifold I had to cut hole in bonnet to allow for the Sigma Turbo Manifold, so thats reason for scoop.

And now fitting roll cage, and swapped for Starion Turbo motor...
(It was the 2L 4G63T block, Single cam)
And added front mount

And just having some fun in her...

Good memories, but moving on to newer projects...
I have the 2 door now :D

Thanks man, the guy i bought it off had already rolled the gaurds, and they are a front wheel drive offset, so just had some spacers made up and they are sweet, no rubbing at all.

Couldn't catch it in the Hilux :P
