Haha!! :P my mum has come back anyway :P I still leave my love in the galants ;-)

And payed $800 for her. No rwc or rego.. But if we want. We could have it regoed tomorrow :P

But we're gonna clean her up a little more first.. Get the instrument cluster we need in and sorted, give her a tune up, and fix the rust bubbles up and stuff :)

I thought this model came out with the two piece grille.....(i can't tell if its different, or just the orginal painted black to have the "factory modified" look on it

Arh! is that where it finished up! Buy it from Hillcrest? Know the car, already supplied parts for this one.

To replace the hacked up useless, not working, aftermarket gauge filled cluster it had before :P

Also tried out the factory sports wheel instead of the ugly uni spoke ones :P

1st thing i'd be doing is shortening that gear shifter......bus coaches have shorter levers than that

I've managed to separate the gear shift stalk from the socket link on something I've been working on, and have discovered the only way you can shorten the shifter lever is with some serious butchering and a threaded rod that's either welded straight on or with a sleeve and some kind of clamp. The actual height and location is o.k. from factory, but as I'm a 6'3" freak I have to have the drivers seat right back. This in turn means I need to have gorilla arms to comfortably throw 1st, 3rd and 5th.
