Oh man, an LC hatch that clean is an excellent find. The seats in these are notorious for shredding.

Thanks guys...... the car was a great score...... a couple of very small rust spots...the vinyl on the sides of the two front seats has been redone but all else is original...the dash has a crack in it but you can't see it on the pics....... I can't wait to get it on the road and start driving it....... :D

We are hoping to get a roady and rego this month ,flog it at Mayhem on Dec 7th and if it doesn't blow up drive it home....am already collecting bits (extra bits) for it like 245 rears, colour code a rear louvre , and maybe a mild 2.6 ,..don't want to take too much "originality " out of it ,...oh and 245x 60's do fit on Scorp rims,...a bit "bulgy" but they fit......

Well..... "Lucy" is now registered and on the road...
De-bump stripped, de-mud flapped, de-tow barred
Add.......
Some new pin striping on the grill and a wash and vacuum and my girl was ready for Mopar Mayhem at Queensland Raceway last Sat.........

We had an absolute ball cruising the track.....probably the slowest car there but I didn't care at all...... she handles like a dream around corners but lacked a bit...well actually a lot of speed compared to the other cars......
Then turned around and drove her all the way home to Townsville on not quite three full tanks of fuel....... She's a little beauty......

Here is some pics of my car on the weekend.......

Good to hear she made the trip home, was awesome seeing it run around the track and it really is a Mint little lancer, was bummed i couldn't make it onto the track, especially with this and the Caged GC running around.

Cheers

I am so happy with the little girl....... She runs so well for a car that has been sitting undriven and unregistered for 7 years........... Am so glad that we bought it now......
Will be putting new wheels on her soon but will keep the originals ones for when we do shows.....and some seat covers to keep those pristine seats in great condition...... :D

Hi Lindsay ,..
It's probably 50 % original acrylic....has had a boont in passenger rear at some stage of it's life and was repaired.....the rest is touch ups ...it's a 15 foot car if you know what I mean,...almost a ten footer.....I had the day off today ...sooooooo...

Now the weakest link is the drive train......it axle tramped 1st and pulled a second geary ,....with these tyres ,..it'll be diff or clutch,...but it's looking PHAT as.....

Hi Dave,

So would 255 or 265s be a chance to fit ?
My guard lips are rolled (only about 5mm) .... but with a perfect offset ?

I'll probably try 235+ on the front of mine and it has a little neg camber too !
