1978 Lancer hatch

Post by lance »

My 1978 Lancer hatch
Was silver but now budget white.
The car was fairly rust free the worst being around the battery.
My plan is to rebuild the old giil without breaking the bank. Things that are done....
All new ball joints and bushes
Sigma / Lancer front seats
Reskined the dash mysalf
Lc tail lights and ganish with reco bumper
GH green struts
5 speed gearbox ( was a 4 speed )
Scorpian rear disk axel with starion LSD 3.30 to 1
Things to do...
2.6 injected ( in garage) then sort the suspension

Also, I wasn't aware that the Starion's came out with such a tall diff ratio....the best i heard was 3.9 (tho "apparantly", 3.5 are common)

Your right i only purchased the LSD center from the states, no ring gear or pillion . Made it liter(cheeper)
Then placed the scorp ring gear onto it with new bearings back into the scorp carrier.
