New bearing on, new seal installed, rear axle back in, brakes back on, all good so far
Next job transmission service and replace selector shaft seal.
Then it can go back on its wheels and then to the exhaust place for a full new exhaust.

Transmission serviced, and wow what a difference, like silk it is :D
The oil that came out was relatively good for used oil, no surprises in the sump either.

Got the new windscreen installed today, and if you are in SA I recommend using Novus Glass
The Scottish bloke came out today and put new windscreens in the Triton (was somehow cracked while parked in the driveway last week), and the Scorpion.
He took the time to save every clip during the removal process, cleaned up all the clips and fitted them to the new glass. What an effort!!
Good news NO RUST around the window surround, pillars etc... :D
Same cannot be said for the Triton which has bubbles all the way down the left pillar.

I forgot to take a final photo as he wanted to clean the glass first, LOL. Will take one tomorrow and upload.

Hi Team™

Well unless someone wants to make me a decent offer for the Scorpion, it is getting shelved.
Work and family commitments are taking priority and the Scorpion is just another car to look after.
Until we meet again, stay safe, healthy and happy

Thanks to a past member I now have a parts car with a complete driveline
All I wanted was the transmission, but for the price not going to say no.

U got a full set of those gold mesh wheels?

I reckon painted silver, they'll suit the yellow car really well

Nice score on the buy.......but why a parts car.....looks like a full interior, full drive line and the panels (in shot) don't look half bad?

All cars look good in photos :P
Unfortunately the panels are more rust than panel.
I have been told it was done up (modified suspension) but I have not got it in the air yet.
It does have genuine Pacemakers, and sports exhaust that with a little help will fit a Triton
I have not looked over it, or even opened the boot...LOL
It does have power steer, so maybe that might fit the GH with a little gentle assistance.

Oh yeah, the latest addition to the GH is an L plate holder. My daughter says she looks cool in it, so its hers :blah:
So any choice on wheels will be hers. I think the 9" speakers in the parcel shelf will be the only things she wants from the parts car!!
