Classic Celica Club of SA (CAMS affiliated) are having a trackday Monday 14th September.
3 groups of 8, no idiots, sh1tloads of tracktime.

non-members $205 inc cams licence and bbq lunch and drinks. $180 if you have a cams licence

8am to 4pm to be gone by 5pm, Monday 14th October

helmet, long sleeved shirt jeans and shoes, basically any safe car, registred, unregistered, defected, doesn't matter, as long as it is safe.

no need for fire ext.
no drifting sorry.
no racing or overtaking under brakes.
no idiots.

not timed. but if you wanna run a phone timer or get mates to time you, on probs.

I'll be splitting the cars into three groups of 8, based on power and drivers.
works out very well.

it's all about having fun in your car in a controlled environment.
no parked cars, no gutters, no stobie poles, no cops.

cheaper than a speeding ticket, and lasts a hell of a lot longer! ;)

Sadly the hardtop isn't up for it this time. I might come and watch if that's cool?

for sure mate, spectators welcome, and five bucks will get ya bbq lunch and a drink or two.

sessions are kept short to avoid killing cars.
it's a well run day, and if people are keen, and they normally are, there's a bit of a burnout comp at the end of the day.

this is a great day out in your own car at a full blown racetrack, for less than the cost of a speeding ticket.

a mate got done last week, $320. wasted in a split second.

Damian the next time this comes up can you keep me in mind plz? The sig is in need of a tune but once that is done its track ready.

Id be interested (depending on when), sure i can get one of the cars out to the track.

im allways keen on trackdays, they often clash with other things though?

Hey Damo, all cars allowed mate? I will have the Galant running by then and I know a mate with his FPV R-Spec would be into it. They just did a FPV day out there with John Bowe and he is all fired up to do more, lol

..and we're full, 32 spots in less than 4 days.
I do have a waiting list with half dozen on it.

more than enuf time to organise the day off work, and get a car together

the latest of many $200 racecars I'v owned, each one of them a mutli trophy award winning car!
2festi is so far up to 4 events, 7 different drivers, 8 trophies, and 4 flat tyres (3 of which were fixed with a hammer!!)

updated first post, couple last minute withdrawals (1 fire, 1 blown ecu, 1 blown turbo), we have a couple spots vacant (already filled 1 of the 3)
