I got a chance to drop by All Japan Day this arvo and took a few pics of the cool, the different, and the outright quirky stuff going down at the event hosted in Glenelg (just the stuff that caught my attention). Also got a chance to say howdy to A112H and GB_BB4C and took the obligatory pics  http://s1089.photobucket.com/user/geeze ... day%202014

Cheers for waiting for me at the summit everyone. That scorpion had me worried..I followed him around a few blind left handers and he kept swaying to the wrong side of the road?!any on coming motorbike rider would have been dead.!..he also pulled out right in front of an oncoming 350z! Anyone else notice the camera car taking picks of plates as we left one of those little townships?
anyway...i sure got no brakes left. Poor little car came out after 6 months off the road and then i took it to the zippel cruise that night too.

It was fun but I have to say, that Nissan was flying along , I didn't see it screaming up either until I saw the scorp move. I was behind you thought. Sorry for getting up your ass a bit too mate it takes a while for the auto to build up speed but she hugs the corners pretty well.

All good in the mirror, keeping it quite mellow in front of you because my brakes were fading in and out a bit//it was a great day for a pleasant drive through the hills. The white cars in front were going well it seemed.

I love hills driving, can be a total race track on the roads you know and a lovely scenic drive too

I have a plan for the next cruise if people are keen for a day trip around the first weekend of May, weather permitting

I was thinking more a leisurely morning cruise up the Mannum. Lunch, chatting and pics by the river and a nice afternoon drive home.
Track day would be fun but expensive to do alone, maybe if we could hook up with a group of similar speed and age cars it would be cool?? Old Datsun club? Toyotas?

What there should be is an all 4cyl and rotary track day.....then just class it up as RWD, FWD and 4WD classes

Then has the forced induction guys and N/A guys as a sub class

I would be pretty keen for the Mannum cruise, the first weekend of may would also suit me.

Just wondering if anyone's thinking of going to the Rock'n'Roll Rendezvous at Birdwood in a few weeks? It's usually a fun day, and it'd be good to see a few classic 4-cycl 70s muscle there that's not Mazda and Datsun :-)
