I have had a look around the AJD site and can't find the date for the 2011 SA show or the 2012 day

QLD event is not associated with the organisers of this event...
And Jason, 2011 event has been and gone in Feb, and the next one will be last weekend in February 2012

Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
Cool, hope the entries don't fill up before the hardtop is ready
Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
Its usually not open for entries until about 6-8 weeks before the event (at the most!) So unless your plains fail epically and you arent ready by December, should be fine

Might be down. Could even skip this years QR drift matsuri to make the trip, provided it doesn't get canned again
Actually... Might go both, we'll see.

Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
went to this today. there was a good turnout. Alot of Jap cars with everything from s15s, to rx4s, to corollas to legnums and so on. it was great to catch up with nath and his family again. shame there were only 2 old school mitsus entered hopefully next year we will get a better turnout on our part. Sorry TJ i didnt get many photos but i think nath grabbed a few
Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
I had a bit of a look around yesterday morning..............
Can't say I was overly impressed with show itself. The cars weren't spaced or set out very well, considering the amount of room they had to play with. There will be a lot of cars getting scuff marks, etc... detailed of them today with how close they were parked to each other. 2 people couldn't walk between cars without having to step out of each others way.
Having said they that, there were some nicely presented cars on show, especially if Toyota's and Nissan's are your thing. The standouts for me were the orange SR20 powered corolla, the white immmaculately detailed imported FWD corolla GT 2door and the unrestored Mazda RX2 coupe.
Saw Nathan's car there, but he was nowhere to be found. The only other mitsu there was a GTO coupe. Buried away in the back row, where you'd miss it if you didn't look hard enough.
Hopefully next year's show set out will be thought out a little better than this years.
Sorry, no photo's. Didn't have a camera with me.

Hi all,
As you are probably aware, I went out to the event the other Sunday. It was a good day but very hot. I managed to get quite a lot of pic's. Sorry for the wait everyone.

Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
Nobody ever believes me when I tell them Mazda bought Kingswood shells and put rotaries in them...
Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
800 of them to be exact, HJ Premiers. They have the honour of being the only GM vehicles factory fitted with a rotory, lol
Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
We would've howled down any idiot that put a rotor in their kingswood, and Mazda builds a heap of them. Must be great to drive - with the air con on
Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
They would have been good on fuel too, lol

Re: All Japan Day Sydney 13th November
Rubbish or not that Roadpacer is damn cool.
I'd like to know the story behind its being Herr in aus. Private import? Or did Mazda bring it out when the the response from Broadmeadows was "you want to do what?!?"
Looks like the GTO was left on its own in the outskirts?
