Anyone interested in attending this?
http://xtremecarzone.com.au/index.php?a ... ent_id=462

It's in Maitland in the Newcastle area.
I only found out about this today.
77galantv6 and I will be heading up to this, anyone else interested?

Well, it was on today.
77galantv6 and I attended. It was a good show, well worth returning to next year in stronger numbers. There were cars everywhere (high quality ones).

I took a few pics, I'll load them up a little later on.

I am starting to think that the best way to get the Mitsu flag out there is to represent.
Car shows, meet ups and that sort of thing.
Don't get me wrong, the cruises are a great thing, and I've really enjoyed going on them and meeting other liked minded people. But we need to show other car enthusiasts that there is love for these cars, and what can be done with them.
If I had a dollar for everyone who took a double take at 77galantv6's motor once they saw it, I'd be very rich right now.

77galantv6 and I plan to re-attend at Liverpool for the Harry's Cafe de Wheels meet up thing on the last Saturday of the month. I don't know if it will be this month, but we'll see what we're doing as the date gets closer.

Was good to meet up with Scott Dirtracer7 too.

1JZ-747 is a seriously quick car, think it was into the 9's last time i checked. there's some very impressive engineering gone into it too. Nearly 1000rwhp never hurts either :P

But it has gone from a seriously quick street car, to a Registered Drag car.
The guy that is doing the tuning on it, is the guy that built my engine is doing the tuning.

I had a good look at 1JZ-747 the other day,
It just sits in the workshop,
if it every got driven on the road it would be defected and never get rego again.
The interior is completely stripped, full cage, alloy racing seat etc...

I like the mk1 Cortina with the Supercharger...
