I entered my VR4 in the very first AJP here in SA and it is a great day. The organiser Kristian is a great bloke with a mad passion for all types of Jap cars.

So who's going? I'm planning on entering, believe me when I say that if my car's fine to enter, any of yours definitely are
According to the AJD site club displays aren't allowed but it would still be pretty cool if S-G NSW put on a strong showing at this. The more old-school Mitsi's the better in my books

Re: All Japan Day 2011
I'm gonna try my hardest.
The coupe goes to the sparky next week, I'm waiting on a water pump pulley which should be done by now, just need to check. Then I need a throttle cable made, after four attempts by another company over the course of 8 weeks I still dont have one that fits . Gonna try a new place this week so hopefully I can get that sorted.
If it runs, itll be there*
*(yeah I've said that a lot, but its actually tantalizingly close this time

Hi guys,
We got a call this morning from Auburn City Council advising us that due to the recent heavy rains, Silverwater Park was closed to all sport activities this week, and wouldn't be suitable for cars to drive on this Sunday. They don't want their grounds getting wrecked so we have to accept their assessment of the situation. (We don't want cars getting bogged on there either, especially if it meant we had to pay for repairs to the reserve).
The plan at this stage is postpone the event - we're looking at either holding off till spring, or doing it in a few weeks' time (which will put us fairly close to winter). Like you guys, this has caused enormous inconvenience (and cost!) for us, so please be patient with us while we sort out a new date.
We'll let you know as soon as we have more information.
Cheers
The AJD crew

Re: All Japan Day 2011
sweet. im hoping to go if they reschedule just hopefully its not during exam period
Re: All Japan Day 2011
I noticed the message the night before which was lucky, I was gearing up to go.
I'm not surprised though, its been wet as balls here in Sydney.
Anyway, not too disappointed, I should have the car done by the time they reschedule it

Quite happy they postponed it to be honest, gives me more time to get the car running/registered
