[SA] Cruise Sunday 12th Dec 2010

Well... though it might be time for another cruise.
I know it's been a while so some of you's should have had enough time to get those cars ready to show them off.
If not like always bring what ever you have running and meet some of the other members.

When: Sunday 12th Dec
Time: 11am for 11.30 sharp leave.
Where: Meet at the Gepps Cross Hotel Carpark
Will be heading upto the Roseworthy pub for lunch, then a cruise through the hills.

Any and all suggestions welcomed.

All i have to decide now is what car to take......(the Turbo, the Galant or ......)

This has a bit of everything, meet at car wash, bit of traffic and 80-90kph, new expressway at 110kph up to Roseworthy Hotel for lunch, head into Gawler and up into the twisties for the run home.

Had a look at the map, if only google would update and show the Northern Expressway. Slight change to it, head straight up Pt Wakefield Hwy and then onto Expressway and then where ya said to go, or is that what ya intended on suggesting?

I know. 210 km/h is a race, 100-110 km/h is cruising speed.

GB_BB4C yeah mate I meant the new express way, I dont think google has updated in over two years. It still shows a tree in my front yard that we cut down in Jan 2009, lol
Near Maps is better but doesn't do address' but they are updated every 6 weeks and pics taken by the RAAF.

Well i think we will be going with what Galant_GTO has suggested so far.
Will be aiming for Sunday the 12th Dec. Meet around 11am for 11.30 sharp leave. Meet around Gepps Cross to head up to Roseworthy for lunch at the pub then a trek through the hills back to civilisation.
Whats everyone think about this?

if not away working and i have the new ecu installed by then, i might head out. but its a decent drive from the southern suburbs so see how it goes closer to the date.

I reckon I can most likely make that, in some form of car or another (Probably not the Galant after tonight's misadventures, but that's another story). Might be my dad and I, or just myself, but I should be able to make it regardless. Route looks okay too

My Sigma is running, so a month of making sure everything is working, and neatening it all up, I should be there in my Sigma. If things don't go to plan, I'll come along anyway in the Nova.

Ya should be fine. I was running 4.2 before and drove it all the way to Whyalla and back. 84GSR is running 4.6 in his daily.

Yeah, the 4.11's will be fine. We won't see over 110kph and think how punchy it will be in the hills, lol

Okay, so my Wife is doing pretty well so I will be there at the meet, cruise to Roseworthy and have some lunch but then I will cruise home.

i dont live to far from the meet spot so i might ride down on my bike to say hello and that but no car for me (still need to do the head gasket) just gott hope im up in time
