Well, my Galant should be back on the road soonish...how is everyone else going?

I'm planning to take DVSGAL for a drive to Geelong when she is done. I'll post up details here when I know what day.

..ive been itch'n for this cruise and nothing is happening..every other state is organising cruises and are bloody making me jelous..wtf,its making us vic's look like we cant put on a show??

The problem is, we get 10 people saying that they will go, on the day maybe 2 people will show.
In the end, people give up and don't bother organizing anything.

are we really that bad..other states are just laughing at us.

i really have no sence of direction in the way of organising a cruise,how bout you?? are you able to organise something? ill drive anywere.

I've always been a little reticent to go on any cruises because I look on here at the time, skills, money and love people have invested in their cars and I'm a bit daunted.

Will people laugh at me, or worse The Mighty Sigma, because it's only had love and none of the other three?

(I mention the laughing at the car because the last time someone laughed at my shit box it promptly spat the head off.)

Anyway, if people promise not to laugh, and I can fit it in amongst the crappy time commitments of a new job, I'll show up. (And so will The Mighty Sigma)

I won't organize one, but when I take DVSGAL to Geelong I will post up here and If anyone wants to meet up or join us we can work something out.

I cant think of anyone better actually. Who doesn't want to see your wagon? That's a draw card in itself.

Like ISKA8 said, no one's going to laugh. It's not about looking for the negatives at all.
From what I've seen from the Sydney cruises, it's about meeting people with similar interests, drawing attention whilst cruising in a group (people stop dead in their tracks when they see lots of similar cars together), and most of all getting inspiration from others. I would never turn a standard (or dodgy looking) car away. They are the ones that quite often build the awesome cars because they want everyone to respect their ride.

There's a place for everyone at cruises, young and old

I've been watching this topic for a while and I look forward to hearing about and seeing pics of this meet up. I'm even a little bit tempted to make the trip (depends on my situation at the time obviously, so I'm not making any commitments). Would be a good road trip in the wagon though?
