The mags will go back on for the cruise.....

After that though i want to leave the scorpion wheels on as the car is a lot amoother and nicer to drive with them on.

They'll look really good polished too. ;-)

Can't wait for the cruise... its gonna be awesome.

I'm actually happy it's not on that date. The 6 hr race at Eastern Creek is also on that day which was also another event I wanted to go to. You've made my decision a whole lot easier.

Well you sound like you'll be easy pleased then
If you want we could have a small local meet up on the 18th?

But we need to set a date for the major cruise, a better date then the 18th, I didn't realise it was the last day of school holidays when I set it :$ . It wouldn't be fair to those who have to travel.
So the question now is when should we do it? I am out for the 25th.

Canton Beach, is that the one in toukley?

If so that sounds like something to go see.

Local small meet up on the 18th sounds like fun. I'm just hoping when there is a date set for the cruise i'm not working. I'd be so annoyed.

Sigmas are awesome..... i'm slowly converting my workmates into fans. :D

Are we talking leave time for the Sunday Show and Shine?
It looks like it will be underway by 10am by the club site link.
So to be there by 10 we'd need to leave Newcastle, by 9:15 at least?

I'm heading down shortly to the Hunter Valley Chrysler Club Show and Shine.
I'll get some pics for those interested, and for those that aren't :\

I'll have to get something sorted for the SG cruise? Sorry, I've been flat out with house renovations and work. If anyone else wants to get something sorted out then go ahead. If not I'll sort something shortly?
is anyone interested in a cruise in the Central Coast/ Hunter Valley area? Or is Sydney the only place members are interested in attending? I haven't seen much interest in the north of Sydney idea?

I want this to get underway, but it pretty much looks like only Newcastle Central Coast members are interested

It's the northern end's turn again, so this time It will be north of Sydney.

I am open to suggestions on location a meet type.
Location?
I think a good location would be basing this one somewhere on the Central Coast? Not too far north for Sydney members...

Meet type?
Whether we meet up and just park and talk, or whether we have driving sections again. I'm not fussed either way?
The Parramatta meet up was good, because no one got lost (not that I heard) members could come and go as the pleased (to meet whatever commitments they had), and was relaxing. Also good for members who are traveling a long way.

Date?
Sometime around Sunday the 18th July?

A suggestion had been discussed at the Parramatta meet up.
- Meet at either 'Pie in the Sky' (Berowra) or the Ourimbah freeway rest area and drive as a group to Wollombi Pub, for a BBQ lunch.

-Can anyone suggest a location that would be similar to Parramatta Park, that is close to the freeway on the Central coast? That may be another option? Looking for a large park with BBQ's and playing areas (for members with kids).

-There is always Speers Point Park, at the northern end of Lake Macquarie a bit further then the Central Coast, but a great location, it has large flat areas, plenty of parking, BBQ facilities, and a covered area if the weather turns bad. And it's only 10 to 15 mins off the Freeway from the Toronto exit.
http://www.whereis.com/nsw/speers-point#session=MjE=

Looking forward to any feedback.

When a Location and time is set, I'll post up a proper cruise topic.
I've been slack and not followed through with this, so does anyone have a preference for a date or location?
We'd be looking possibly at a date 1 to 2 months away, no point setting a cruise up with no notice?
I'd like to have this set within a week or 2 to get a cruise topic put together and advertised on other sites...

If possible it would be good to get a few of the members who are currently working on their rides?
skidmark- What are you up to with that sigma? What is your estimated time of completion?
DanTurboLancer- How are you traveling with yours Dan? Do you look like being able to get yours rolling any time soon?

If we have a date/dates to work to, to accommodate anyone, just let us know...

If you have an opinion or preference speak up.

Ok, so after the Newcastle meet up yesterday the discussion of a cruise came up again.
Wollombi Pub was spoken about.
So I'm looking for some opinions on dates and a possible start date.
So far the date I suggested has been and gone, but anyone who has any preference or suggestions, let us know...

Wollombi is not to far for Sydney members. It's a good day out on some fantastic roads (combination of straights gentle bends and tight corners through country/bush setting).
If you've never been there, you are missing out.

Heres there website.
http://www.wollombitavern.com.au/tavern/index.htm

I was thinking If its not to hard for the Newie boys and any further north If we all met at a centeral meeting point like at the rest stop at the hawkesbury bridge which is here on google maps http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&q= ... a=N&tab=wl google maps only lets me show the road its on but if you look near the bridge you can see the car park there.

then all cruise up to the pub together. At the pub the have free year round bbq facilities for lunch or grab a bite to eat inside. After the cruise I was thinking so its easier for all if the north crew split and made there way back to Newie and the sydney crew went there way.

Well just an idea. :)
