N.S.W Sydney to Newcastle cruise day - PHOTO GALLERY

Post by DanTurboLancer »

I just wanted to say it was really great to finally meet everyone.
I was a fantastic day, and i really hope we can do another event in the near future.
It was great for the Guys and Girls to make the effort to come up from Sydney, and I hope you enjoyed beautiful Newcastle and the scenery.

It was awesome to see so many cars, and that we picked up a potential new member on the way :D

Here are some photos for everyone to enjoy

At the original meeting point (Twin servos between Sydney and newy)

Image

------------------------------

We pulled over for a quick stop and another Galant pulled in with us,
and came along for the drive
Think we found a new member :D

Image

------------------------------
Dont get to see so many nice early girls in a row like this often

Image

------------------------------

We made it to Newcastle foreshore, and as it happened the Newcastle Holden Commodore club were holding abit of a show and shine.

So TRIIKY organised us some VIP parking.
Was great to see lots of people walking over to check out the Beasts too!

I have heaps more photos and Video to come.

Great day!

Cheers Dan

i forgot the camera :stupid: but it was a great day.....

plenty of fun, bit of tyre smoke  and the odd drag race at the lights

was great to put some names to faces and possibly add a few new members who spoted us along the way...

on a lighter note, i had a little scare when driftforlife started his car just behind me but still had it in gear - just about had to go back into maccas and check my undies

hope it gives all of us some inspiration / ideas fore their cars.

i know that i am now going to be getting some new seats after having a seat in daves (75wagon) car.

cant wait for the next cruise!

cheers,
dean

The 'drift' coming out of the twin servos probably scared him more though. Too much Horsepower from the Heavens.

And my pesky little Corolla trying to get itself in the pics. :$

tufsig. . tell me that you own the GT3000 in your profile pic. if you do i am flying down right now cos you have way too many nice cars. surely i can have one hahaha

now someone asked what happened on the old road. nothing too awesome. just looked like a lot of oversteering from speed on a lot of corners and a lot of worn engine smoke and then a 160KPH from the red P plater in a 90 zone at the end hahaha. that blue galant with worn engine and dying gearbox is definatly pulling well above its weight lol. it dos bloody well lol. gotta love it for that :D

What a day! Bloody awesome to get out finally and cruise with some of the sg crew! Great to put faces to names and i certainly enjoyed checking out everyones cars chatting and random shenanigans... I enjoyed the lil wagons and certainly great to read the galant release docs, see the standard and practically concourse engine bay too. The boys with the n/a's had some nice subtle mods and tidy engine bays and well dans lancer.... It had my attention the minute i pulled in....

Driftforlife man can you send the vid to me by email by chance???

Here's my pics for the day. Fired a couple off on my phone but mostly didnt worry taking too many.
