To my knowledge, you've said you're coming along to every NSW cruise so far, and turned up to exactly none :P

In future I'll just mark you down automatically as attending, and expect you not to show...

Damn. And I was looking forward to seeing that Nikki 650 with that 500 HP Nitrous kit :o

Did he have his Dad in the passengers seat or something?
For the short time I saw him in my rearview, I thought, damn I'm glad I'm not behind him :@

He had an SR20 turbo in that thing too. So on paper should have been the fastest there in the front group.

Maybe it's only quick in straight lines?

Maybe it slides straight into my theory of the more power needed, the less driver skill they have?

Just like the white 1600 I was following. Get him on a straight bit of road and he would be gone. Get to a corner and I would be all over his ass and I wasn't even trying. Might of had something with how low the car was sitting. That was also frustrating.

Dave...
Ease up on the generalizations there Dave, some of us with power can actually drive....
I do believe I have proved this in the go-kart day and the previous wisemans run

Mine is set up a lot better for the track than those bumpy roads though.

It's actually more of a motorbike statement then a car one.
The blokes who can't ride so well spend more on straight line speed.

Must be why I ride a Z50. LOL.

Actually I'm just slow everywhere on a bike. Although i like going fast as I've got older I'm trying less and less to push the limits. Having only recently got my bike licence I haven't really had the urge to constantly push my self harder and find the limits like when I was young and in a car.

It is fun to throw the Dominos scooter through a round-a-bout at a decent rate of knots and get past everyone. The look on someones face when the are overtaken by a Dominos scooter scraping the pegs on the ground..... :o

I tried hard to keep it out of my pics (they get way to much cred as they are, they don't need encouragement... lol).
I actually know of people who have stopped Galant builds to take on building one of these
