Re: Mini SA Cruise
Okay,
So I have received a fairly quiet response and those that I have chatted to are not sure about a hills run for various reasons.
So how does this grab ya?
Saturday 14th we meet at the Somerton Surf Lifesaving Club carpark about 4pm. Have a chat, take some pics and so on. Leave there about 5pm for a run down both Esplanades and through Glenelg (good perve, lol) and we end up about 6pm at the Largs Bay Kiosk and grab some chips to eat in a beachside carpark and take pics.
I am thinking afternoon/evening as it will probably be pretty warm that day and after work hours there will be more 'scenery' along the coast.

Who is coming and in what?
A112H - GC Hardtop
Cottees - GN Sigma
GB_BB4C - Dodge Colt
scorpian82 - GJ Scorpion
84GKSIG - GJ GSR
geezer101 - (if he can find a sitter)
tubby - Panno
L200W3RK5 - Back in - L200

Re: Mini SA Cruise
Nice one cottees, do you want to meet up along the way and get there together? Maybe meet with tubby and 84GKSIG along the way, assuming they are coming
Re: Mini SA Cruise
Yep, sounds like a plan.A112H wrote:Nice one cottees, do you want to meet up along the way and get there together? Maybe meet with tubby and 84GKSIG along the way, assuming they are coming

I'm gonna give it a go. Still need to find a willing sacrifice to take the kids but shouldn't be a biggie. Pray for sunshine!

How can you not love the taste of blood and diff oil?
Re: Mini SA Cruise
I didn't realise it was the same day as Shits N Faced. All good, I don't drink beer, lol, but what it does mean from previous years is it will be 40 degrees even though the weather forecast for Saturday is only 28 and sunny.
Re: Mini SA Cruise
Ahh looks like i might be here after all

Re: Mini SA Cruise
Sweet as. Somerton surf club is right around the corner from me. Will atleast try to make it to the meet spot and maybe bail after the quick run through the bay. And if nobody else has a GPS on them, someone from down south could probably borrow mine if necessary and i get it back from them the next day or something.

Just a reminder guys, meeting at the Somerton Surf Lifesaving Club carpark about 4 to 4:30pm set to leave about 5pm.
Re: Mini SA Cruise
No dramas man. If its the one im thinking of its a real small carpark out the front and usually packed on weekend as there is a cafe there. But will park on the espy or the street on the bend and hang about till i see some other mad cars turn up

Re: Mini SA Cruise
Yeah, I didn't think of the size or anything around it really, lol. Just figured it would be empty.
Wife is coming this time, well she was last night, things can change but we should be there about 4, I am pretty sure I will pick your car out if you are parked on the side of the road, lol

Pics;
Cat lovers need to be segregated
Awesome weather and a great cruise with a good meal, what else can you ask for, besides a thermo fan that works correctly, lol.
I appreciate everyone who took the time out to join us and I promise the next cruise won't be a weekend when there are 15,000 other events on, lol
Thanks again guys.
