Hey guys,

I look at the forum from various places - work PC, home PC, Iphone. Sometimes I go to the site link, sometimes type into browsers, sometimes click links in emails - a whole variety of methods. Now the thing is, occasionally it will log me in automatically, but most of the time it won't. There's no pattern at all. "Keep me logged in" is always ticked but it's widely inconsistent. Any ideas why? No biggy, just hate having to retype my password all the time, especially on my phone!

I have exactly the same problem. And its specific to this forum, almost all other forums DONT do it. The only other that gives me issues is evooz

Since the site up grade a few years ago mine has been doing the same thing. Interestingly mine only does it at home, my phone logs in everytime and work did (until I left it on over night and found the next day the site had been blocked )
I don't have to type my password everytime, just double left click in the user name box, select my name and it auto fills the password. But I do have to do it everytime I log in at home. If I leave it logged in and come back in an hour or so, it has logged me out and I need to start again
No biggy really just annoying. Maybe it is a SA thing, lol

99% of the time im accessing the site from my laptop, and everytime i have to re-enter password. luckily i use firefox browser now and autosave all my login details for my forums and dont have to retype it. but still annoying to have to go to the login page everytime

Could be. I have my computer and phone auto login and don't have any issues with them.

I had two email notifications for the threads today. The first I clicked and it auto logged me in. The second I clicked and I had to login. Bizzarre!

I don't think I have had an email notification for over 12 months, lol
My phone auto logs in as does my PC at work. Weird shit

sometimes i will get email notifications and sometimes i wont. heaps odd.

clear temp internet files such as cache and so forth, also what browsers you all using?

i was using internet explorer. not using firefox. firefox seems much better

Tried clearing cookies etc and it's still bizarre. The Iphone uses Safari. At work IE8 and home IE8. Very inconsistent!

I'm in SA and don't have any problems logging in from phone or PC

but... I do have a problem on my (Android) phone, where it cuts off the right hand couple of words of each line on each post.
to clarify, i see everything, except the far right of each post.
Having my phone on landscape doesn't help

no biggie, I just have to guess what people write, and if I'm really keen, I need to jump on the PC at work

Ah, it is what it is. I am used to it now anyway, lol
