Can you guys set it so after you have made 25 posts or 50 posts this doesn't happen.
So many times I haven't commented or offered advise because I am just flicking through on my way out the door and it won't let me.

That's odd....i've never had that before......the only 'drama' (if u can call it that) is that the forum warns u when someone has put in a post between the time u clicked the 'post' button and actually submitted the post

Yeah, that is annoying too but I get that, someone may have answered the same thing you were going to
I get the delay between posting too, it is designed to stop spam but surely it can be set to or removed after a certain post amount??

I thik cottees and 84GKSIG set it up after our last big span problem but I am sure it can be turned off after a member gets to a certain number of posts

Yes. Very annoying, especially when I'm trying to spam-bomb the last post wins thread...

No.
It was set to 60sec between posts. I have lowered it to 30sec since there hasn't been any spam problems lately.
