useless search engine

can someone do something about the search parameters?

its refusing to search for anything i want to look for saying its too common. things like scorpion, turbo, sigma, etc.
and driving me nuts looking for things
usually its only words like and, the etc...

I have increased the threshold of common terms, it was set to 5% (ie. word which are in 5% of posts are considered common), I have increased it to 15% (so now words which are in at least 15% of posts will be considered common words).

EDIT: That didn't work, I'm changing the threshold to 35%.

Is it an option to offer headings to choose from when selecting
ie;

Search word - Scorpion
Heading - For sale

I am pretty sure that a drop down menu system would not be too hard??

its been fixed now. search for the and the same page that comes up came up when you searched for many normal items.
it made it unuseable, now its good
