Alarm systems
Im looking into getting an alarm system for my GD Galant at the moment and was wondering what brands are good and how much they normally cost, im scared to walk away from mine when i park it due to the area i live in and am thinking about investing in one. any help would be appreciated

Have had one in my GD for as long as I can remember. Installed it after a few issues.
Brand of alarm is 'Hornet', similar to this one:

Also put in central locking on the front doors at the same time. Never had an issue with the system. Would recommend it in an instant too. Love key-less entry

My red Scorpion also has an eBay car alarm on it (different brand but same result).
Mine cost $29 from memory and came with auto-arm, adjustable motion sensor, doors, and bonnet sensor, and starter cut off relay with multi-tone siren.
My then 10 y.o. daughter even helped me solder it into the car, that's how easy these things are to fit.
