G'day gang, Need to replace the coil on my LC Lancer with 4G32B engine. Any particular brand is best suited??. Thanks, Bob.

Just put a Bosch GT40 on it (or GT40R, if the car has a ballast resistor)

Reasonably priced & reliable

I've used the Bosch transformer 'T' type coils. In my opinion they are a great compact coil with a really good, strong spark. They cost a bit more but I'd always swap an oil filled coil for one of these every time

IMHO, there's no advantage in spending the extra $$ on a transformer-type coil for stockish car .... it won't make it run any better.
