Small problem...

Post by webby »

Car starts fine when I short the starter, but when I go to start it on the key I get nothing. Dash lights all work, it just won't turn over.
Ideas?

Fuses are fine, starter wiring is attached/secure.
NFI on fusible links, as I'm not sure which one's which. They all look fine though?

It's pretty weird, as it was working fine a couple weeks ago :\

dodgy ignition switch, wire unsoldered itself from back of ignition switch, dodgy inhibitor switch (if auto).

Inhibitor switch
Forgot that was still in there

That could well be the issue, as I use it as a killswitch. It's kinda a necessity when you've had three driver's windows snapped off so the local kids can steal your smokes/try and steal the car

Cheers guys, carry on :$
