Microtech Plugs

Hey all,
Had someone bring a Microtech MTX8 into work today wondering if we could get our hands on the plugs.
Gave Microtech a call and they want $165.00 + P&H for the 3 plugs with 6ft of cable.
Rather pricey lol.
Anyway, was having a look through our catalogs to see what we could get. Farnell seemed to have something close.
Looked to the side of my bench, spotted an old computer power supply & sure enough, the main motherboard connector is a perfect fit. All you need to do is trim off 4 connectors from the end of the plug and fits no problems for the largest connector. Shouldn't have any trouble trimming the plug differently to suit the other connectors either.
Hope that is of use to some, Not sure how the other models will go, but would assume they would be all using similar connectors.
