Autometer Fuel Gauge

Hi guys,

Plan to install an aftermarket fuel level gauge for my 1973 GB Colt Galant. a friend of mine recommend AUTOMETER Carbon series, may i know whether this works with the stock sender? or i should get the sender from Autometer? If so, which sender shall i use? really need helps on this, anyone experience these before??

i dont no for sure but i think you need to find out how many ohms yore sender puts out wen empty and then full to match the right gage to yore application? but as i said im NOT SURE???
