hi im going to be using 780cc vdo/siemens injectors on my 2.6. they are low impedance injectors which are supposedly better for solenoid opperation because the open and close quicker. the haltech ecu i want to buy states that it will only opperate with high impedance injectors. i was told that you can still use the ecu but use resistors in the injector harness? is this okay to do?
i thought aftermarket ecus would be able to run high or low impedance???

If you put a resistor in line with the low impedance injector, it would act more like a high impedance injector (ie: it would take longer to switch on) or not switch on at all.
High Impedance injectors use less current and can be driven with a straight 12v line.
Low impedance injectors use a large amount of current and need an initial 12v to be switched on but then drop to around 9v to be held open.
This is commonly referred to as "Peak Hold". Peak=12v, Hold=9v
You should be able to buy a Peak-Hold circuit adapter for your ECU.
They aren't cheap
