FYI GALANT WAGON FAN PROBLEM

Post by boyracer »

.
.
For Your Info.
Going down the highway the other night pouring rain windy and the windscreen fogs-up.
The bloody fan would not switch on, it's a freezing winters night here in Queensland, probably 20 degrees.
I pressed-on windows down an inch or so a sock in hand to clear the screen.
I get there safely and back, what a driver.
.
Anyway over the weekend I pulled the fan and controls etc etc wont work start thinking loose wire, then
have to go out so stick it back under the dash get the trip done. Today playing with the fan unit looking
for that loose wire, it rattles and the fan works again, what a mechanic. Leaves and debris had jammed
the fan itself found them in the vent ducting etc. So you know your fan might no be stuffed it just maybe
the way the Japs built the thing thats the problem.

we get adelaide nites down to 2degrees and in the riverland where i used to live it got to minus 3. so for me 20 degrees is shirt and shorts weather.

this is where i come in with HARDEN THE FUCK UP.....

man, we been averaging like 9-10 degrees here everyDAY lately

maybe you should spend a day and a night in Liaweenie (central highlands of tassie) - they get 3 degees in the day, and minus 4-7 at night, then you will have the right to bitch about a freezing winters night...

pfffft, 20 degrees... grow a set

also, FWIW: i wear shorts regardless of how cold it is, i own 1 jumper, and thats cos i had to buy 1 to race my car @ the drags  - i only wear jeans if we go out for tea and stuff, and once again, to drag my car

OK ladies, there's no winners here. If you like it hot, you live up north, if you like it cool, you live down south. Isn't Australia a great place to live where you have choices like this. :) :)
I'm here for a good time, not a long time !
