Hey all.

got the car running and driving now. only issue is the alternator is over charging at 28v. I have no idea why I always thought they were internally regd. I have swapped alternators and still have this issue. any ideas as to why this is would be greatly appreciated.

Have you wired up the sense wire correctly?

Yes when we connect it all up it charges at around 15.3v but I blow fuses
