The pads for the Starion front brakes are DB291. DB1111 and DB1141 will also fit. I think it was the DB1141 is also available in 4WD pads.

I really rate QFM race pads. They have them for starions. You get them from a company called GSL rallysport in queensland and they're really cheap. They have a website so check them out.

Forgot about QFM. I am not sure where to get them though.

...But reading your post again, I do now.

yeah hitting up gsl for some pads, c how it gos. If its not up to my expectations im gonna go twin spot 300sx calipers modded to sigma struts and 300mm rav 4 disks with a mod plate for the calipers.

the last good pad I used were potterfield carbon kevlar things from the states - they do the job ok
and are much nicer that the race brakes material than I was using

its getting harder to find good staz pads and even the potterfields were expencive
http://porterfield-brakes.com/search.php

I intend to upgrade to something else and go away from the starion brakes which are only just up to the job anyway
