lower ball joints

Post by shuggy »

ok so i got myself a new pair of lower ball joints and i have removed one from one side, that took me 3 hours or so..
how the hell do i get the new one back in??
ive tried making a puller by using a piece of pipe and place and screing the top of the ball joint up to it but it just pulls the plate toward the arm instead of of pulling the joint up...
just doesnt seem like it will fit :(
is there a puller i can buy or rent to do this??

You need a press, it needs a few tonnes of pressure to get them in.

As above...

The last thing you want to do is put one in not square!

Last time i did em cost me $20 to get the pair pressed in
